Staff Christmas Wish List #2: Noah

Next up on our Christmas countdown is Noah - Noah is a student and aspiring architect, he is passionate about design and architecture and has a soft spot for Scandinavian and humanitarian architecture. More likely than most to be on the good list this year, here is what Noah's asking for...

1. New Nordic Houses

This fantastic hardcover book is an incredible collection of nordic architecture and has enough images to get lost in for hours. The pages feature a range of works and plenty of leading architects including one of my personal favourites, Reiulf Ramstad Architects.

2. Design for Good

John Cary's 'Design for Good' exemplifies the exceptional work being done by architects in developing regions across the globe. The book presents numerous humanitarian projects, which range from homes and cultural buildings to schools and hospitals.

3. Monocle Guide to Building Better Cities

This 'guide to building better cities' is just that, a detailed but succinct manual for the improvement of cities in such a way that they are more ecological, economically and socially sustainable. You've got to love that!

4. Kjellgren Kaminsky Architecture

The partnership between Fredrik Kjellgren and Joakim Kaminsky has resulted in a number of beautiful works. In addition to their beauty, these projects represent sustainable solutions and innovative design. This book highlights their beauty, sustainability and innovation.
